Display Board and Portfolio:
  • Essential question
  • 10 sub questions
  • Pro/con arguments (bullet points)
  • Pictures/illustrations
  • Graphs/charts/diagrams
  • Important quotes
  • Survey results (if applicable)
  • Statistics
  • What I thought then/What I think now
  • Any relevant objects
  • Video clips/ music/interviews/news clips
  • Portfolio Contents
Essay:
  • Response to essential question
  • 5-7 pages
  • At least three rhetorical modes
  • At least 4 rhetorical devices
  • At least 5 different sources
  • Incorporates ethos/pathos/logos
  • Follows AXES format
  • Includes current research
  • Presents opposing viewpoints
Presentation:
  • Expect a panel of one staff member and two community members
  • Panel will spend 15 minutes evaluating your project
  • You will be expected to present for 5-7 of those minutes
  • You will be given a presentation rubric prior to May 25th
  • You will be evaluated on content, presentation skills, and materials
