Getting Started

Hey, seniors only a few more months and you are a high school graduate! You want to be a high school graduate right? Well one thing you have to do is blog, blog like your future depends on it, because well, it does.

Step 1:
You have to set up a Google account

• Go to google.com/accounts 
• Fill out the stuff they ask for. You are smart, I don't think you need help with this
• No you don't need a Gmail account. Gmail is awesome though and it's a good time to ditch that unprofessional ghettoboi619@whatever.com that you love so much.
• Make your account name professional; use your name  so we know who you are.

Step 2:
Join our Google group

• Make sure you are logged into your Google account.
• Go to google.com/group/scitechseniors 
• Click the apply for this group link
• A team of highly trained and awesome people (mainly Mr. Mike) will accept you and let you join this prestigious group.
• Again use your name for your nickname so we know who you are. If you do not use your name I will deny access and you will be shunned by your peers.
• Here you can ask questions and we will try to answer it.

Step 3:
Create your blog.

• Your still signed into your Google account right? Okay good, make sure you are.
• Go to blogger.com
• Set up your blog
• You blog title should be professional; your name should be fine.Your blog address should be sdhsFirstnameLastname.blogspot.com
• EX: sdhsJonMikulanis.com

Step 4:

Add your advisor’s email as a BlogSend address. This will send us an email as soon as you post.

• Click Customize in the upper right hand part of the window

• Click the Settings tab, then click email and mobile.
• In the BlogSend Address box add your advisors email
• Mr. Mikulanis – JMikulanis@sandi.net
• Mr. Degroot – ADegroot@sandi.net
• Mr. Marquez – CMarquez@sandi.net
