APEX San Diego High Scholarship - $500 Award

Scholarship for Students entering College Fall 2010

Application Instructions

ALL APPLICANTS

This scholarship is merit based. Successful candidates should be prepared to attend a public Community College in the fall of 2010. Applicants must be participant in and ultimately “walk in” graduation from San Diego High School.

Requirements of the Scholarship:

· Completed APEX course 2009-2010 school year

· Public Community College selected

· On track to graduate June 2010

COMPLETING YOUR APPLICATION

The application consists of:

· Scholarship application

· Personal, academic and extracurricular information

· Must be complete with all the areas filled in

· Essay (One page - 1” margins, 12 pt. font, times new roman, 1.5 line spacing)

· High School Transcript

SUBMITTING YOUR APPLICATION

Please submit the following application materials in ONE ENVELOPE:

· Completed application

· All areas in the applications must be filled out

· Completed essay – 1 page maximum

· High school transcript

Applications missing any element listed above are considered incomplete and will not be forwarded to the scholarship screening committee. Completed applications must be received no later than April 30, 2010 by 2:25 pm. Late applications will not be forwarded to the scholarship screening committee. Return completed applications to:
