Welcome to the Web site for electronic submission of your application for USA Funds® Access to Education Scholarships®. Please read these important reminders:
You, the applicant, are responsible for completing and submitting all information required.
To create your application account, you must provide a valid active email address and create a username and password. Notification throughout the application process will be by email. Students who fail to use a valid active email address that will accommodate bulk mail or who fail to check the email account regularly may not receive consideration. Be sure to add usafunds@scholarshipamerica.org to your email contacts or address book.
At any point while completing the application, you may leave the site and return later to update your information before submitting the completed application. To do so, click the Save and Log Out link located on the left navigation menu of each application page. When you return to the application site, you will be required to enter your username and password to access your application account.
All required fields must be completed in the appropriate format in order to submit the application. Please use standard capitalization when entering data (example: Jill Smith, not JILL SMITH or jill smith).
Carefully review your entire application before submitting it. Once the application is submitted, no revisions can be made and you will no longer have access to your application account. We recommend that you print a hard copy of your application while at the Review Application page to retain for your records. Do not send a printed copy to Scholarship Management Services.
Selection is a 2-step process. Scholarship Management Services will review all applications and select finalists for the scholarship awards. Only finalists will be required to submit supporting documents to verify information provided on the electronic application. Please do not mail any materials to Scholarship Management Services in conjunction with your electronic application.
All applicants will be notified of their status via email in mid-March.
Don't wait until the last minute to apply! To avoid any difficulties accessing the application due to the high volume of traffic at the site, you are strongly encouraged to apply early. You must electronically submit the application by February 15, 2010.
