Encourage students to review their Student Aid Report (SAR) and to correct any errors, if necessary, in the information supplied on the FAFSA. Students can make changes to data on the SAR by visiting FAFSA on the Web at www.fafsa.gov and clicking on ‘View and Print Your Student Aid Report.’
· As students begin to apply for financial aid, they should be careful to keep their personal information safe. Encourage students to read Save Your Money, Save Your Identity at www.studentaid.ed.gov/pubs to learn ways to reduce the risk of identity theft.
